1982
Midway Metals Pty Ltd Established in Sydney.
1983
Opened branch in Newcastle.
1985
Opened branch in Brisbane.
1992
Sold our Sydney and Newcastle branches to NZF Fasteners LTD from New Zealand, we had 6 staff remain from the sale in Brisbane.
1994
Purchased Axel Johnson’s ( now Outokumpu ) plasma cutting machine and stock.
1996
Opened branch in Townsville.
1999
Reopened branch in Sydney, we now had 30 staff.
2001
Purchased Capral Stainless Steel’s business, this gave us a further factory in Melbourne, we amalgamated their Sydney and Brisbane operations with our existing facilities. We now had 4 sites in Australia and 70 staff.
2002
Opened back in Newcastle after 10 years absence, this gave us 5 warehouses and 80 staff.
2003
Purchased NZF Fasteners Australian Operations – Austeel Stainless, this now gave us 6 sites in Australia as they had a factory in Albury, amalgamating Sydney and Newcastle facilities. We now had 100 staff.
2007
Opened Branch in Perth.
2007
Opened sales Office in New Zealand.
2010
Completed building stage one of our Yatala Facility to house the coil processing equipment.
2010
Installed and commissioned the new Blanking Line in Yatala, Queensland.
2011
Installed and commissioned the new High Speed Slitting Line and Flat Bar Machine in Yatala, Queensland.
2011
Completed building stage two of our Yatala Facility.
2019
Purchased Outokumpu Coil Processing facilities in Laverton North, Victoria, we now have 160 staff.
